Get Movin’

It is important to be committed to regular attendance of the Get Movin’ course. This is a group activity course to attain fitness goals. The numbers who can attend are strictly limited, and unfortunately, there have been members who have not attended very often where another member would have loved that place in the course. Our regular attendance is vital to the course being undertaken by the CQU students, who carefully train and supervise our members. Their work with us becomes part of the trainees’ assessment. If you are contacted to take part in the classes, please advise the caller if you are not going to be available for the course duration.
Unforseen circumstances such as illness and family commitments which will always be taken into account, and if you start the course and cannot continue for any reason, please let me know so that someone can fill your place for the remainder of the course.

Get Movin’ March 2019

Get Movn’ will be starting up at CQU Gym (TAFE City Campus) on Tuesday 5th. This is a 10 week course of Group Activity at the Gym, which requires attendance at every session offered. Everyone who signed up on GIAG Day has been contacted and assured that they will get the opportunity to do this course in 2019.
For the First Semester starting on 5th March, 15 members have been selected and notified that their place in this course is confirmed. All other members who signed up for this course on GIAG Day will be accepted into the Second Semester course, which we anticipate will commence in August.

Get Movin’ is living up to its name. The group of 16 are certainly moving and each week we do
different exercise to build muscle, strengthen our core (or is that our fat resource?) and better
balance. I know you are all practising at home during the week! Remember no classes on April 9
and 16 (school holidays). Classes resume Tuesday, 23 April.
