Join us for a delightful, fun, stress-free afternoon in a relaxed atmosphere. We play surprisingly simple games such as Canasta, Whist, Euchre, 500, Rummy, Hand and Foot, Pennies from Heaven and many different games based on Rummy. We also play Bridge.

Exercising our brains while having fun is paramount.

Cards are held at the Gordon White Library on TUESDAY from 1.00 – 5.00 pm. BYO afternoon tea, we break at 3 pm for refreshment and take the opportunity to meet and chat with others in the group.
However with the exception of the first Tuesday of the month when they are from 1.15 – 5.00 pm.

U3A Cards Group

Is anyone interested in playing Euchre? It is a good quick game and there has been an enquiry within our group recently, so if there are any players out there wanting to join a Euchre table, please come along. Our other games include 500; Auction Bridge; Crib; Canasta;, May I, Rummy and many others.

Our players are amazing: many arrive early to help set up our room every week, everyone helps pack up our tables and chairs at the end of play – great team spirit all round.
Special recognition to our Assistant Co-Ordinator, Rosemary is a Legend.
We have many experienced players and I wish acknowledge their help teaching new players, and for their willingness to change tables, and sometimes games, to help our days work well.
Thank you to all of our players, old and new. Everyone contributes to the success and friendliness of our group.

Happy New Year to all ! The U3A Card group is off to a flying start – from Jan 7th you can find us every Tuesday from 1 – 5 pm at the Community Venue at Gordon White Library, Mt Pleasant. New players are welcome, for further information please call Rosemary on 0431 638 768, or myself on 0437 575 230
